Drive to Vila Viçosa.

You will start your day with a visit to The Ducal Palace, isolated and emphasized on the so-called Terreiro do Paço, at the foot of the Castle´s hill. For centuries, the Castle of Monsaraz played an important role as a sentinel of the Guadiana River, watching the border with Spain.
